Coach Gray has been around baseball his entire life as a player, fan, coach and executive. Currently in his 3rd year as JV Head Coach at Santa Margarita Catholic High School, he has led programs and developed baseball players the past 13 years.
Current MLB Miami Marlins scout, former college coach and Houston Astros draft pick. Coach Brock has over 20 years of playing, coaching, and scouting experience to instruct young players on, including teaching SISU and its benefits.

Utilizing Baseball to Facilitate Growth
A demanding, results-oriented clinic designed to instill a system of habits and routines that will drive first-class behavior on and off the field. Baseball drill work will include a dynamic warm up, speed &
agility training, as well as throwing, hitting, base running, and fielding drills stressing proper technique allowing for health
and longevity. This all-encompassing program will also include mental skills training, mediation & breathing exercises, and “how to” life skills.
Coach Brock also does private lessons and clinics.
Coach Skupien graduated from the University of Notre Dame where he was a 3-year starter in infield and outfield. As a captain, he earned all Horizon Conference honors and was voted Best Defensive Player. He played under former San Diego Padres Manager and current Milwaukee Brewers Manager Pat Murphy. After Notre Dame Skupien played professionally for the Harlem Sparks in the Netherlands.
He lettered in baseball, football, and soccer at Capistrano Valley High School, where he earned All South Coast League, All County honorable mention and was named team captain. He was a part of the CIF Championship winning baseball and soccer teams.
Coach Skupien has coached 6 years of high school varsity and 12 years coaching and administering high level youth baseball programs.
Coach Johnson was drafted out of Laguna Hills High School in the 49th round by the Chicago Cubs and then again out of Wake Forest University in the 13th round by the San Diego Padres.
After All American & All ACC honors in college, he played 2 seasons in the minor leagues as an outfielder, with stops in Idaho, Oregon and Indiana. This was preceded by summer collegiate seasons in Alaska and the prestigious Cape Code League (MA).
Coach Johnson excelled as high school athlete with 11 varsity letters in football, soccer and baseball. He was first team All CIF, Orange County, and PCL in baseball while having the all-time LHHS home run record. All PCL 2 years in football, and PCL Soccer MVP, Male Athlete of Year and LHHS goal scoring record.
He just completed his 8th year in Aliso Viejo, leading the AV Samurai to an 8th place finish out of 104 teams in Cooperstown, NY. He also led the AVLL all-star teams to and unprecedented 4 consecutive state tournaments. Coach Johnson's record as a club and all-star coach in Aliso Viejo was 147-55-9.
After playing for Team USA at 14u & 15u, Coach Tanner accelerated into Trabuco Hills High School as a 3-year varsity letterman. He was the 14th ranked catcher in the state for the class of 2019 by Perfect Game and received first-team all-Sea View League honors and an Orange County All-Star Game invite. Twice he received team MVP honors and received a Gold Glove on two occasions to go with a Silver Slugger award.
He went onto D1 San Diego State University as a catcher for the Aztecs before the Covid-19 pandemic and injuries cut his career short. He continues to be close to baseball as a club coach, while also collecting sports memorabilia, mastering Jiu Jitsu, golfing and running 7 marathons (1 ultra) in the past 2 years.
Coach Filidei is a passionate New Orleans native who surrounds herself with baseball routinely, while cheering on all Louisiana sports from the left coast.
In addition to a long career in insurance, life coaching and health advocacy, she has helped lead youth baseball and high school programs these past 12 years in marketing, player agency, uniforms, scheduling, finance and administration.
Her hobbies include cooking, strength training and helping with dog rescues.
Coach Bacosa is in his 2nd year at Santa Margarita Catholic High School as a varsity assistant baseball coach and special education teacher. While obtaining his Masters Degree in education, he was a graduate assistant for the Whittier College Strength & Conditioning department.
After a very successful high school career at Bellarmine Prep, Bacosa played at Whittier College where he made the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference All-Academic team and was also a team captain for the Poets.
Bacosa previously served as a junior varsity assistant at Willow Glen High and supported the varsity team during the playoffs. When not coaching high school, he has 7 years of experience coaching youth club teams and camp instructing.
Coach Owens graduated from the University of Michigan where he played football. He was drafted by the Los Angeles Rams in the 1st round of the 1981 Draft. After his 10-year career in the NFL, he obtained his Series 7 License and worked at Merrill Lynch as a financial advisor.
Thereafter, Coach Owens attended law school and received his Juris Doctorate at the University of California at San Francisco – Hastings School of Law. In 2006, he became a founding partner at NBO Law and is a lecturer in the field of workers’ compensation, sports law, sports injuries and disability benefits.
Coach Owens is currently a partner at the Law Offices of NBO Law and is a defensive football high school coach in Orange County, CA.
